About Us
We are a small breeder of extra large, AKC Great Danes located in Louisiana. Our main goal is to give you a well-rounded, intellectually sound, long-lived Great Dane. All of our dogs are from Champion, Health Tested European and American lineage and have wonderful temperaments - not to mention, they are BIG!
Our puppies are raised under-foot, with cats, children, other dogs, and much more! They do not go outside unattended, or before 6 weeks of age. They are taught their names, started on potty training, and basic commands! We also do live daily videos, so you can check up on your baby. Our duty is to to make sure the transition from our home to yours is a GREAT one!
We are also part of the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program.
Dedication
We are a Bred with H.E.A.R.T. certified AKC breeder since 2012 and breeding since 2008. Our Danes are specifically bred for their exceptional Health and Temperaments. We just had our 4th Generation of Wehrhaus Babies!
Why Not More Dogs?
We do not believe in having a large "kennel". To those of you who have had Great Danes, you know they are velcro dogs and love the company of their humans.
We view breeders who keep their dogs in kennels outside, like livestock, do not have the best interest of the dogs or puppies in mind.
In order to train, live, and provide enough attention to our babies, we do not have an excess of Great Danes. We keep those that are well rounded and do not mass produce puppies.
This is why our puppies are usually sold before 2 weeks old from our notifications list.
Notification List
We want to match you with your perfect fit. So, we do not take early deposits on our puppies, but rather keep a notification list. When the puppies are born we let you know and YOU DECIDE if it is the right fit for you.
